Episode #3 Alluring Allies and the Pettiness of the Sea

Mirabelle decides to scare some teenagers that are speeding on the lake but after failing, enlists the entire household for help.

Featuring: Mirabelle – The Mermaid’s Malice

Episode Outline: Mirabelle, annoyed at reckless teenagers speeding on her lake, tries to scare them with classic sea monster tactics. When this fails (because the teens just think she’s part of some viral prank), she calls on the Hungry to help escalate her efforts, leading to a series of increasingly elaborate and petty pranks.

At the mansion, the Bullies are locked in a heated competition with the Jocks over who can put up the best Halloween decorations. Their feud escalates into a full-on prank war, with each side booby-trapping parts of the mansion to sabotage the other’s efforts.

Both plots converge when Mirabelle convinces the Bullies and Jocks to help her escalate her lake pranks against the teenagers. The pranks get so absurd (including sending Rex to pretend to be a seaweed monster) that the teens finally flee in terror. Mirabelle is satisfied, and the Bullies and Jocks call a truce—until the next prank.

Uncle Slasher’s Overview: Ahh, Mirabelle, the sea queen herself, is feeling particularly petty today. She spots some teenagers speeding across her lake and decides to have a little fun by scaring them off. When her initial scare doesn’t work, Mirabelle enlists the help of the Hungry. Lawrence is, of course, more interested in catching dinner than terrorizing teens, but Faye and The Critic happily get involved. The teens eventually flee, but not before causing a ruckus that catches the attention of the local lake patrol. Oh, and Dracula? He’s fuming, having told Mirabelle a hundred times to stop messing with the humans. Heh, what can I say? She’s never been good at listening.
