Episode #9 Alluring Allies and the Dark Tone

The mansion is attacked and Siobhan is the target of the intruders.

Featuring: Siobhan – The Banshee’s Lament

Episode Outline: Siobhan has been getting odd notes left for her, cryptic warnings about an attack on the mansion. The problem? She’s too sarcastic to care. Turns out, she’s being hunted by the Exorcists of Everen, a group of overzealous exorcists, led by Sean O’Malley, who believe they can banish her from existence. They continuously try (and fail) to exorcise Siobhan, while she mockingly goes along with it, treating it all like a game.

Meanwhile, Gravedigger and Max are busy fixing a malfunctioning trap in Dr. Trap’s dungeon, while the Jocks entertain the humans trapped in the glitchy contraption. Max, however, has face blindness and hilariously confuses Siobhan’s “exorcist guests” with the humans stuck in the trap, resulting in slapstick shenanigans.

Siobhan, finally bored of the exorcists, uses her banshee scream to send them running. The two plots collide when Gravedigger uses one of Dr. Trap’s malfunctioning devices to create a ghostly illusion that terrifies the remaining exorcists into retreat. Siobhan rolls her eyes at how easy it was but admits it was “mildly amusing.”

Uncle Slasher’s Overview: Siobhan finds herself the target of the Exorcists of Everen and their leader, Sean O’Malley. They’ve been trying to summon, bind, and banish her, but Siobhan’s too bored to care. She sarcastically plays along with their rituals, much to their frustration. Meanwhile, Dr. Trap’s basement traps start malfunctioning, and Gravedigger is called in to help. The Jocks take over entertaining Dr. Trap’s “guests,” but thanks to Max’s face blindness, chaos ensues as Siobhan’s “guests” get mixed up with Dr. Trap’s victims. Heh, in the end, Siobhan gets what she wants: a day of not caring, while the Exorcists? They leave, defeated and embarrassed.
